While browsing the web this morning I found a great post on the XDA Developers forum on how to unlock the HTC Touch. The process is fairly easy and the best part is that you do not have to pay to aquire the unlock code. Thanks to Rishi for posting this great thread.

UNLOCK THE HTC TOUCH FOR FREE

• First, download the files that you will need from here -> Cert_SPCS.cab/EnableRapi.Cab/Touch_Unlock.zip
• Copy the 'Cert_SPCS.cab' and the'EnableRapi.cab' files on your phone & install them by clicking on the cab.
• Unzip Touch_Unlock.zip on your PC  and then run Unlock_Touch.exe (Make sure the ActiveSync connection is still running)
• This will generate a file 'unlock_code.txt' which will contain the 8 digit unlock code (Ignore any other digits if generated.)
